Companies that intend to participate in EPIC-8 either as sponsors or by submitting abstracts to the industrial sessions of the conference are also encouraged to consider applying for the EFCE Process Intensification Award for Industrial Innovation. Launched in 2015, this award is presented to an employee or a team of employees of a company, who have made excellent contributions to the industrial application of process intensification. The nominated industrial innovation must have been implemented between 1 January 2019 and 31 December 2022.
The award will comprise:
- A dedicated plaque.
- Announcement on the EFCE website and communicate with a press release.
- A presentation at a special session of EPIC-8.

The deadline for submission of nominations is 28 February 2023.
