Abstract Submission
How to use the online abstract submission system?
- An abstract template is available here, this is a Microsoft Word file that is designed to ensure that your abstract is prepared in the right way for publication. Please save this template file to your PC’s hard drive and use it when you prepare your abstract.
- Abstracts are required for all papers and posters. Abstracts MUST be submitted using the template form provided.
How to submit my abstract?
First option: after completing the registration of your personal data, a window with the option to EPIC 2023 paper submission will be displayed.
Second option After logging in to your participant account from the conference page on the left side you will see the EPIC2023 papers tab after expanding you will see SUBMIT EPIC2023 paper.
1st step: In the top horizontal menu, you will see the SUBMIT 2023 paper tab.
2nd step: Next, you will see a menu that allows you to register your abstract in the system.
In the Author and Institution tab, enter all the authors of the abstract and their institutions.
Important: In case the author represents more than one institution, these institutions should be entered in the institution name field, separating the institution names with the sign “/” (slash).
In the TOPICS tab: you should select up to 3 most relevant to the topic of your abstract.
In the EPIC2023 paper title & text tab, you will need to upload a file with your abstract prepared in MS Word format according to the editing rules given in the abstract template. Abstracts not prepared according to the guidelines will not be accepted for review.
In the OPTIONS tab, you must select the type of preferred presentation form and whether the abstract is submitted for review or only saved for later editing. Abstracts that are saved but not submitted will not be reviewed.
3rd Step: When you finish saving or submitting your abstract, the system will generate an automatic email with information about the status of your abstract.
In cases where you wish to edit an abstract already submitted for review, please do so only in exceptional cases, and contact the conference secretariat to have your abstract restored for editing.
Conference Papers Publication
The EPIC2023 conference proceedings will include abstracts only. Full versions of selected conference papers will later be published in the Special Issues of the following journals:
• Chemical Engineering and Processing: Process Intensification (CEP:PI – Elsevier) and
• Chemical and Process Engineering: New Frontiers (Polish Academy of Sciences).
